Terms of use and rental terms
Last updated September 2026
These terms cover use of this website and summarize the standard terms on which Sky-N-Sea International, Inc. ("Sky-N-Sea") rents survival equipment. The signed rental agreement for each rental is the governing document; if it differs from this page, the rental agreement applies.
Using this website
- Information on this site is provided in good faith to help you plan a rental. Equipment availability, specifications and pricing are confirmed only in a written quote.
- Product photographs show representative units. The unit you receive may differ in appearance, manufacture date and markings while meeting the same certification.
- Content, photographs and the Sky-N-Sea name and logo belong to Sky-N-Sea International, Inc. and may not be reproduced without permission.
- Nothing on this site is regulatory advice. Determining what survival equipment a particular flight requires remains the responsibility of the operator and pilot in command under the applicable regulations.
Rental terms in brief
- Minimum period. Two days. Rentals extend by the day, week or month at the rates in your quote.
- Condition on dispatch. Equipment is inspected before dispatch and ships in date, with current inspection tags and certification documentation.
- Your responsibilities. Keep the equipment in the condition received, use it only for its intended purpose, and return it by the agreed date. Do not open sealed packs, remove tags or parts, or tamper with the equipment in any way.
- Return. Return to the agreed FBO or by the supplied return method. Rental continues to accrue until the equipment is physically received by the FBO or back at Sky-N-Sea International. When handing equipment to an FBO, crew must record the name of the person receiving it — we use that name to verify the return with the FBO and close the rental.
- Loss, damage and deployment. If equipment is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the repair, repacking, recertification or replacement cost set out in the rental agreement. If the equipment is deployed in an actual emergency or by mistake, you will be billed the full replacement cost of the equipment.
- Recertification logistics. Where Sky-N-Sea collects and forwards your own equipment to the OEM for inspection and recertification, the OEM's terms and turn times apply to that work. Sky-N-Sea will assist in the collection, return and/or delivery of the serviced equipment as agreed in the quote.
- Shipping and fees. A hazmat packaging fee of $150.00 applies to all shipments from our facility. Return shipments must be sent overnight (next business day) by an approved carrier, at your cost, with a signature requested on delivery. A cancellation fee applies to reservations cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled shipment or delivery.
- Payment. As stated in the quote. Fleet and standing-terms customers are invoiced per their agreement.
Liability
Sky-N-Sea supplies equipment that is certified and in date at dispatch. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sky-N-Sea is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including delay, diversion or cancellation costs, arising from use of this website or from a rental, except as set out in the rental agreement or as required by law.
Changes to these terms
Sky-N-Sea International reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms and any rental agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes are subject to the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida, unless the rental agreement states otherwise.
